Almost Easter 2010 Already

Hello There ~ Greetings

I don’t know about you but time seems to be flying by.  In the past three months, I’ve seen Christmas in France, New Year in the UK, witnessed the closure of 20 years of history and found two fab new Centres ~ an eventful start to the New Year

Before the end of 2009 Muswell Healing Arts announced it’s closure at the end of February 2010.  Now for old timers like me who had been with the Centre since it opened in 1989, the news was sad and a bit of a shock.  However as much as I loved MHA and have very fond memories; I was slightly surprised to find myself embrassing change (so of course I promptly added it to my intended New Years Resolutions),  January and February had me glued to my laptop, whilst searching the local area, shops, centres, libraries etc in search of new premises so that my Practice could continue.

Much to my delight I found two Centres I am pleased and proud to work from; Tao Dao, just opposite Highgate Tube on the Archway Road, where I started working the first week of March.  And another Centre already known to many local residents; The Haelan Centre in Crouch End, where i hope to start practicing in the second week of April (after Easter).

The beginning of this year has already turned out to be quite an adventure and has slightly derailed some of the plans I was hoping to get underway at this time.  I am however getting a master class in the art of flexibility.  Now as a bodyworker I know about keeping the body supple and flexible so that everyday tasks are easy to perform.  Of late however, I have been asking myself when was the last time I checked out how flexibile my attitude and responses were to rapid change?

This needed some thought and reflection.  I started with acknowledging and thanking all the people I have met and known (some of whom I still know),  I thanked the foresight and creation of MHA by Rosa Muratore and Ruth McKenzie and Phyllis the lady who leased the building to them in support of the creation of a Natural Health Centre.  I thanked students I had taught during my 20 years at the Centre.  Also the Japanese film crew who filmed me in room 2 at the Centre ~ now that was an interesting experience.  Mums & Dads, their sons and daughters, so many happy times, I was determined to part with fond memories and love & gratitude in my heart.

I wanted to move into my new future with hope and a little bit of excitement in anticipation at the new adventures that would surely lay ahead and I sincerely hope a flexible attitude tinged with compassion and generosity, oh yes and a touch of inspiration with a dash of humour.

I’m off now to search for the Easter bunny in Hertfordshire

Be well ~ be happy

Summer Madness 2009

Its Summer ~ smile at the world and it smiles back

June & July happenings 2009

Francesca on the Run

Its been a while, and I cannot believe we are half way through the year and Summer Soltice just weeks away.  You will see from the home page I am running on behalf of Cancer Research on 7th June on Hampstead Heath London, and I will be running again on 19th July in St Albans, details of which will go up on the home page once I have completed the Hampstead run.  Is it just me, or is there a lot of running going on this year.  I just love that I can run, which is good for my body and soul, and that by doing so I can help others.  If you have not already done so, please take a few minutes to pledge some funds.

Heavenly Sents

I have also been busy making up all sorts of individual Aromatherapy orders for everything from hayfever, to energy boost, to chillout, oils, creams and lotions and continue to experiment with all sorts of goodies especially created for you.  If your needing any special preparations, please do contact me and I will lovingly create your hearts desire, just for you.  More on this subject to come - keep your eyes peeled.

Last but not least

Now please don’t laugh at me!  I decided that this year I should try new things so…….. from 30 May to 6 June I will be in Spain learning Flamenco - yes I did say Flamenco, and for those of you who have not heard of it……… I’ll tell you all about it when I get back.

Until next time, be well, be happy, be safe.

Hello from Francesca

Hello There

Welcome to Free Spirit Healing and my very first blog

The first thing I would like you to know is that I am (with the help of a real nice lady named Tracey) still working on content and additions for this site. And I have to confess I got a bit carried away and put the wrong email address on the What’s New and Pregnancy Pages.

Some one did try to contact me in the last week of November; whoever you are my apologies, please do try to contact me again (francesca@freespirithealing.co.uk) and thank you, because it was not until I saw a notice of failure of delivery that the error was discovered. I am also extending this invitation to anyone else who would like to give feedback about the site, or has experienced any other communication difficulities.

Oh Heck its Christmas Again

As we hurtle towards Christmas at an alarming rate I got to thinking about what would make life easier? Then I realised how I would love someone to gift me a massage at this time of year, and whilst purchasing for them I would probably purchase for me too. I also some years have found myself having to psych myself up to drive to the shops, find parking and battle my way through the crowds. So then I thought how great it would be not to have to leave my home and still be able to purchase a great gift.

So with all this in mind you are also going to see a further addition the site. You will very shortly be able to purchase a gift voucher, for you and your friends from the comfort of your own home. Right now we are just sorting out the logistics and are hoping that the voucher will be available for purchase by 14th December 2008.

Catch up with you all soon - in the meantime don’t forget to breathe it keeps the stress at bay.
